This whole week Sports Media 101 and FanDuel are celebrating their new partnership by bringing you, the greatest fans ever, the biggest contest to date. This free fantasy contest is going to be held on the MLB’s opening day, Thursday April 5, and this will start an entire month of free fantasy baseball contests. During the month of April there will be cash prizes every week for this free contest!
To kick off this new partnership and the MLB’s opening day, Sports Media 101 and FanDuel are throwing the ultimate fantasy contest. This Thursday at 1:05 pm EST the biggest contest in Sports Media 101 history will begin. The person who wins Thursday’s major league freeroll will get a share of the $1000 prize pool! Will it be you? All you have to do is put together a team and then watch it all play out on Opening Day to see if your roster has what it takes.

By Chester BakerThe Indiana Pacers will face the Miami Heat at Bankers Life Fieldhouse tonight in Indiana. The Heat are coming off a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, falling 103-87 last night. The Pacers look to remain hot following a 21-point thumping of the Milwaukee Bucks over the weekend. Last time these two teams met, on March 10th, Miami narrowly edged out the Pacers, beating them by two points in a game played in South Beach. The two point loss was a great improvement over the 15 and 35 points drubbings the Heat had handed Indiana earlier in the season. If the season were to end today, the Heat would be the number two seed in the playoffs with the Pacers getting the sixth spot. This could be a preview of a postseason series if either team's standing changes over the next couple of weeks.
